The Devil

In the coming period, you will begin to notice how much of your professional direction is driven by obligation rather than choice. An offer or assignment will appear attractive on the surface but will carry hidden constraints. You will feel the pull of security mixed with a quiet sense of entrapment. A conversation with a superior or client will reveal expectations that bind more tightly than you anticipated. The tension will rise as you realize how much control you have surrendered for stability. A turning point will occur when you clearly see the cost of staying in this dynamic. If you continue to comply without question, your path will narrow further. If you assert your boundaries, the structure around you will react. That reaction will expose who benefits from your silence. The moment you claim ownership of your direction, the illusion of dependency will weaken. You will understand that fear has shaped more decisions than passion. This realization will not be comfortable. It will, however, be liberating. Your vocation will begin to shift from survival toward conscious authorship. Once you see the chain, you will not accept it as destiny again.
